Are you a data expert with a passion for collections and recoveries, including data strategy, portfolio analytics and debt sale analysis?
Arum is seeking Associate Data Analysts to support our clients by providing in-depth analysis and insights that drive performance improvements. If you have strong skills in analytical modelling, commercial analysis, predictive analytics and excellent SQL skills for data analysis and manipulation, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyse client portfolios, providing insight into performance and opportunities for improvement.
- Use scoring and segmentation to develop collections strategies with optimised account treatment paths.
- Identify and test effectiveness of internal, third party and CRA datasets to enhance understanding of customer circumstances.
- Build predictive scores and models e.g. propensity to pay, propensity to contact, best repayment date.
- Use test and learn / champion challenger frameworks to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform debt sale analytics, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Use SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Create reports and dashboards to present findings and support client decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Skills and experience requirements:
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience of statistical modelling techniques and languages (e.g. python, R).
- Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualisation tools and reporting (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Experience in collections / recoveries portfolio and debt sale analytics is desirable.
